We Cannot Lose Any More

Your contribution will help us stop logging in Mt. Hood National Forest!

Barkers!

We’ve almost reached half of our goal – you can help us fund a whole summer of action!

Recent studies show that the city of Portland is growing by 111 people a day. That’s likely not too surprising to anyone who has spent time recently in the changing city. There are a lot of new people.

We can expect growth to persist here. As we all begin to experience the effects of climate change with drought, heavy storms, and economic pressures, people want to be sure their families have clean water and a healthy environment in their future.

We cannot afford to continue losing our forests.

Our drinking water is famously clean and delicious. Pacific Northwest forests are one of the most integral carbon sinks in the world. Mt. Hood’s forests are our future.

Do people know that when they move here? Now they will!

Your $100 contribution today will support our outreach efforts. In the next year and a half, Bark has set a goal of having 70,000 conversations about why protecting Mt. Hood’s forests are part of our climate-changing future. (That’s about 111 people a day!)

Bark’s door-to-door canvass is a powerful outreach tool. Our events, tabling, and presentations throughout the area reach thousands of residents. And in the next year we’re going to increase our efforts.

Support this work today with a one-time contribution that will help us reach our $20,000 spring fundraising goal and get more activists defending Mt. Hood’s forests and rivers.

Thank you!
