Comment Writing Workshop #2

Large Douglas-fir tree along one of the many equestrian trails in the Gibson project area

Join us at the Bark office for a comment writing workshop regarding the Gibson Insect and Disease CE Project being proposed on the Hood River Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest. Your comments can make a difference for the management of Mt Hood!

No previous experience required! We will share information about the project as well as what Bark staff and volunteers found during groundtruthing surveys of the area last summer. With this information, we will then walk you through how to write and submit your own comment as part of the NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) process.

This event is part of Bark’s free Rad◦i◦cle Training Program, which empowers individuals to learn valuable skills in forest ecology, “public lands” advocacy, and community organizing. We hope to see you there!
