Come join us for a conversation on the classic childhood book the Lorax by Dr. Seuss. While geared towards children, it can be used as a base in which to have relevant political conversations without the heaviness that can be so common in environmental book clubs.
Is it still relevant? Is it the exact right message? What parallels to current events can we draw? How can we use the Lorax to talk about current issues, and should we?
The location of the talk itself will be indoors at Bark’s Office at 351 NE 18th Avenue, Portland, OR. 97232. This event will be discussion-based, and the more the merrier, so bring your friends. Gender-neutral restrooms will be available.
