Bark Out: Intro to Edible/Medicinal Plants

Take a walk with us as we look for common Pacific Northwest plants, and talk about their history and use.
This will be held in the Oxbow Regional Park, and we will be meeting at the Happy Creek area. There is a $5 parking fee.
We will be sampling what the forest has to offer, please let me know of any dietary restrictions. Bring a mug or thermos for best consumption! There is no bulk harvesting allowed within the park, so this will be much more of a lesson on spotting and recognizing plants in the forest than going home with a bounty.
We will spend the day moving through the forest, both on roads and off-trail, walking over uneven terrain, with down logs, and possible mud and water. We will make numerous stops for discussion and personal reflection, please come prepared to keep yourself warm and comfortable in the weather.
