Bark x Drag Me Outside Hike to Umbrella Falls

Bark & Drag Me Outside are teaming up to lead a drag-themed nature hike to Umbrella Falls — we hope you’ll join us!

When: Saturday, August 8th, 10am-3pm | Meet at 9:45am (exact location will be shared with attendees in reminder email)

About the hike: Wildlife professional Thespis D. Light and environmental scientist Efemmera Gendera of Drag Me Outside will lead this drag nature hike to the beautiful, iconic Umbrella Falls. We’ll hike through an open forest of firs, spruce, and pine, traverse a rocky bluff with views of the meadow, and hop over some small creeks on our trek to the waterfall. We’ll learn about the flora and fauna of the area along the way!

Accessibility: This trail is a 4.1 mile loop with an elevation gain of 840 feet and is considered an “easy” hike. The trail is not paved — it is bumpy and will include tree roots and rocks.

What to bring: Water, snacks, comfy shoes, and weather appropriate clothing!

This hike is FREE, but tips for Thespis and Efemmera are appreciated and accepted at the hike!

Space is limited!
