Anvil Project Comment Writing Workshop
The Clackamas River Ranger District of Mt Hood National Forest just released the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the “Anvil Vegetation Management Project“. Bark staff and volunteers have been tracking this project for over a year, including extensive groundtruthing surveys last summer. There is a public comment period open until June 19th, so let’s get together to workshop our comments and speak up for Mt Hood!
Bark’s Forest Watch Program Manager, Jordan Latter, will give an overview of the project, how it got to its current state, and what Bark’s current concerns are. You’ll learn a bit about what makes a good public comment, tips for what to include in your own, and a chance to brainstorm with fellow Bark activists. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!!!
All you need to bring is yourself, a laptop and/or something to take notes with, and if you want, a snack to share!
Please reach out to Jordan (jordan@bark-out.org) with any questions or accessibility needs. We want you to feel comfortable attending.
