Bark’s Concerns

Steep slopes (most 25 -40 , with some at 60 ), old growth, un-mapped riparian areas within the units, not isolated islands but contiguous stands along Granite Creek, areas to be logged contiguous with interior forest, roadless area logging. The Granite Timber Sale impacts the Burnt Granite roadless area (estimated 800-1000 acres). Units 5 and 10 are in this un-inventoried roadless area.
