Bark is in the 2022 Give!Guide!
Bark serves as a key public resource for place-based forest advocacy and free educational programs in the lands now known as Mt. Hood National Forest. None of this would be possible without grassroots support from you. We’re asking you to give generously in support of Bark during our Winter Fundraising Campaign! Together, we can organize for a healthy and environmentally just Mt. Hood National Forest!
Bark is raising funds as part of the 2022 Give!Guide!
Bark is aiming to raise $30,000 of much-needed funding through our wonderful partners, the Willamette Week Give!Guide. Check out our page on the Give!Guide site and give today! Special thanks to our business partners at Healing Journey Massage, Mudd Works Roastery, Rabbit Brush Goods, ¿Por Que No?, and Dove Vivi Pizza for providing this year’s donation incentives.
Make a difference in the defense of local natural resources.
We also invite you to join us this coming Saturday morning, November 5th, for Bark’s last in-person event of the year—our Fall Social. The event will be hosted at the Tollgate Campground/Day Use Area in Rhododendron, OR, along the Zig Zag River, where we will keep a warm fire, admire spawning salmon, and venture on a plant walk along the Pioneer Bridle Trail. Bark will also provide friends of the forest who join us with hot chocolate, coffee, and sweet treats.
If you are interested in getting involved with Bark, this is a fantastic, relaxing, all-ages opportunity to visit the forest with us. Register for the event today to receive up-to-date information and access to carpool transportation from the Portland Metro Area.
For the forest,
Summer Noller, Development Specialist
P.S. Big Give Days are back! Give $10 or more through the Give!Guide today, November 3rd, and you could win a Riese and Müller Nevo GT electric bike.
