Larch Mountain Groundtruthing

Image shows a group of six volunteers in cold weather clothing (jackets and hats) walking on a red dirt path into a beautiful misty forest beneath bright afternoon light.

Don’t panic, there is no immediate timber sale being planned for the public land we will be visiting off Larch Mountain road. Instead, we’ll get a chance to get outside, collect data, and keep our legs ready for the summer by exploring an area with a patchwork of land ownership and logging/management history. No experience necessary!

Whether you are brand new or a seasoned groundtruther, this field day will be a great opportunity to connect with others and learn more about the landscape we call home.

Meet at the Bark office at 9 am, we’ll depart in carpool/caravan at 9:30am and return by 3 pm.

Questions or concerns? Reach out to Jordan (jordan@bark-out.org) and/or Mia (miatpisano@gmail.com).

Hope to see you there!
