Bark Out: Stream Ecology Restoration
Join Dr. Patrick Edwards from Portland State University to learn about the ecological restoration of Rock Creek (Clackamas) and collect stream insects as part of a fifteen-year project to monitor the recovery of Rock Creek after its restoration in 2014.

What to bring: Outdoor clothing. Shoes for wading.
Who can join?: Everyone! Families and young people are encouraged to attend!
All hike participants will have the opportunity to learn about and discuss the ecology, history, and current social dimensions of the area.
We will spend the time moving through the forest, both on roads and off-trail, walking over uneven terrain, with down logs. We will make numerous stops for discussion, please come prepared to keep yourself warm and comfortable in the weather. Check back for the exact distance closer to the event.
