Our public Forest Advocacy Campout is a free campout in the Mt. Hood National Forest where campers contribute their time to help gather field information about the ecosystem surrounding Mt. Hood. With this information, Bark staff can better track conditions, give recommendations about land management, and craft legal positions to help maintain a healthy forest.
This year, Bark will host four 3-4 day campouts to conduct surveys in Mt. Hood National Forest. Bark volunteers are welcome to attend 1, 2, 3, or all 4 days of the campouts. Read more below, check back for further updates, and contact Misha, Bark’s Forest Watch Coordinator with questions.
