Friday, August 24, 2018 - 10:00am to 5:00pm

The Walama Restoration Project is a community organized non-profit, founded in 2001, dedicated to environmental stewardship and biological diversity through education and habitat restoration.

Bark and Walama are partnering with the U.S. Forest Service to collect native seed to be used for restoration projects benefiting important pollinators. We will be training volunteers in plant identification and seed collection.

Be prepared to hike off trail. Bring lunch, water, and whatever else you need to feel comfortable for a day in the forest. Call Bark at 503-331-0374 for more details and information, and visit http://bark-out.org/basecamp for information on Bark’s Base Camp event. There is no need to register for this event.
